Champions Cup Success


The Champions Cup is over and leaves behind an amazing weekend of good hockey. All  three categories (Youth, Junior and Senior) proved that Australian Roller Hockey is growing fast. Roller Hockey Australia wants to thank all the players, parents, coaches and referees that took part on the Champions Cup.

Senior: Title stays in Queensland after a battled competition.
The three teams showed good form since the start of the competition making every game a real thriller. Queensland 1 took the first place of the league, while Victoria and Queensland 2 finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. The final match between Victoria and Queensland 1 was a fantastic and well fought match between 2 talented teams. The final score was 2-1 to the Queenslanders.

Junior & Youth:
Both Youth and Junior competitions showed that Roller Hockey in Australia is far from dead. All games had excitement till the end, and was a good experience for those young players which this competition was their first one. The Queensland 2 team took the title for both categories.
